* Muse Stew CD

Muse Stew, in existence since the 1990's, plays original compositions and arrangements of jazz standards. This CD is a live recording of a dynamite fundraiser performed for a local church. Muse Stew combines traditional jazz elements with rhythms, flavors and spices from Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, and West African music to create a unique blend. For instance, you'll hear a djembe, which is a traditional African drum, instead of the typical drum set of a small jazz ensemble.
